DESIGN BUILD
The Design Build method of project delivery is one in which the owner contracts with United Express Construction as the sole entity responsible for the complete design and construction of the project. As a Design Builder, United Express Construction will work directly with the owner in regards to achieving his vision for the end-product. United Express Construction is responsible for assembling a qualified team of architects, engineers, etc. that are best suited to translate the owner’s vision into a viable building design. After such a design is achieved, United Express Construction will be responsible for sub-contractor buyout and contracting. Upon successful completion of permitting requirements, United Express Construction directly administrates and manages all aspects of construction, which allows us to work towards consolidation of the project timelines as we move quickly towards project completion.

United Express Construction provides a variety of General Contracting services throughout the Continental US. We are proud to provide general contracting services for all stages of construction from preconstruction services such as project scheduling, estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, coordination of competitive trade/supplier bids, permitting and more. Our project management services can provide overview of a project from start to finish including small projects or multi-million dollar construction projects.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
The Construction Management method offers some added beneifts to the owner. United Express Construction, fundamentally serves as an owner’s representative, contracted and responsible solely to the owner, and acts in the owner’s best interests through every phase of the project from conceptualization through final project turnover. United Express Construction acts as a consultant to the owner, but performs the work of a general contractor during the construction phase. Using this method United Express Construction is financially responsible for construction that is satisfactorily delivered on time and within the allowable budget.
A significant benefit to the owner is the ability of United Express Construction to be brought into the project during the planning phase, allowing our team to provide value engineering, conceptual estimating and scheduling, and constructability reviews of the proposed design in order to recognize areas with problematic cost factors. This allows the owner to avoid potential cost and schedule overruns prior to the commencement of construction.
